May is a big month for Brisbane’s boating community, and one of the highlights is the Bribie Classic Boat Regatta, taking place on Saturday, 17th May, and Sunday, 18th May. Set against the stunning waters of Pumicestone Passage, this family-friendly event is a must for classic boat lovers and anyone who enjoys life on the water.
Saturday kicks off with a Classic Boat Cruise at 8:30am near Spinnaker Marina, with boats gathering at Toorbul at 11am, followed by a classic boat display at Pacific Harbour Marina from 12pm to 4pm.
Southern Fish Marine will be attending Sunday only, and we’re excited to be part of the action! On Sunday, 18th May, the festivities continue with the Grand Parade of Classic Boats from Pacific Harbour to Sylvan Beach Bellara between 9am and 10am. From 9:30am to 1:30pm, there’ll be even more to see—classic boats, cars, food trucks, and a great community vibe.
You’ll find Southern Fish Marine set up across from the Bribie Island Hotel, right in the heart of the action. We’ll be showcasing a selection of our boats and chatting with visitors about all things marine—from Mercury engine upgrades to boating gear and accessories.
